Chief Minister Alf Cannan says the Island's not running out of fuel - and the government will be keeping its eye on prices.
In the House of Keys this morning, he gave an urgent statement to MHKs about the possible knock-on effects from the war in Iran.
Mr Cannan said significant price rises are on their way - particularly for heating oil.
And he added the Economic and National Strategy Board is meeting regularly this week to discuss possible measures to help lessen the impact of fuel price hikes.
