Police are appealing for witnesses after an incident at the funfair on Douglas Promenade yesterday afternoon.
Two women were involved in an argument at around 1pm - officers from the Central Neighbourhood Policing Team say a woman intervened and stopped the row escalating.
They're now appealing for anybody who saw what happened to come forward.
If you have any information, you're being asked to contact police headquarters.
