There are fears that the ash cloud currently hovering over the UK could be headed in the direction of the Isle of Man.
It reached Scotland yesterday, forcing the cancellation of many flights to and from the country, among them the Isle of Man to Glasgow route and more recently the flybe Edinburgh flight.
The high density area that was covering all of Scotland is now starting to contract, with it now reaching Newcastle.
Whether or not it reaches the Island is dependent on the wind factors.
As it stands Ronaldsway is still open for business with a further update expected at 19:00 hours.
