A yellow weather warning is in place for patches of ice in certain parts of the Island today.
High ground above 600ft and sheltered spots are the most likely to be affected this morning, particularly in the West of the Island.
The met office notice will be in force until 3pm this afternoon.
Forecasters say ice is most likely on roads where there is water run-off and a risk of icy patches in regions sheltered from the easterly wind.
