An Island charity restoring an iconic landmark is warning people after scammers tried to impersonate it.
The Queen's Pier Restoration Trust took to Facebook after people received emails that looked as though they'd been sent from its address.
However, the messages - which ask people to buy gift cards and claim they can't speak on the phone because of laryngitis- are from scammers, and haven't been sent from the organisation.
It's asking people to delete the emails without replying.
