Varied Sitting of Tynwald Expected for Tomorrow

Another busy sitting of Tynwald expected for tomorrow, with a varied selection of questions to be asked.

With only a few weeks until the all important budget for this year is announced Peter Karran will asking Treasury Minister Alan Bell if Department's are able to carry over surplus funds from the previous year's budget in an effort to avoid overspends next year.

Rushen MHK Juan Watterson will ask DHSS Minister Eddie Teare if there are any plans in place to offer support to Island residents who will not be able to cope with the cost of travel insurance once the reciprocal health agreement ends in April.

The topic of the quality of the roads will come under the spotlight as the Transport Minister David Anderson will be asked if his Department are receiving any extra financial support in light of the damage caused by the snow and ice over the past month.
