Discussions about the future of the User Agreement are taking place between government and the Steam Packet Company.
The Infrastructure Minister confirmed that the issue is being discussed at regular meetings with senior representatives.
David Cretney was quizzed on the matter by Onchan MHK Peter Karran – he wanted to know if there has been a meeting to extend the agreement to 2040.
Mr Cretney says his officers are currently working to review the agreement but that nothing has been decided as of yet:
