Commissioners in the west of the Island are asking mountain bikers not to try to create their own riding track - because they're endangering protected wild orchids.
Patrick commissioners took to Facebook to issue the warning after someone mowed a path through a field behind Foxdale's skate park.
The local authority says the unauthorised work also saw soil piled up to create obstacles along the path.
The board says it'll now have to undo the damage and is asking cyclists not to carry out more work there.
