Unemployment rose on the Island last month, according to the latest government figures.
At the end of September, 256 people were out of work - up 19 on the previous month.
However, that number is significantly lower than last September when 307 people were jobless.
The statistics also show there were 447 full-time and 286 part-time jobs available at the Jobcentre at the end of last month.
