The Chief Minister has had positive discussions about the Island’s space industry with the UK Business Secretary Vince Cable.
Allan Bell met the MP at the Lord Mayor of London’s annual trade and industry gathering in the City of London last week.
The Chief Minister said Mr Cable was particularly interested in learning about the success of the industry and that he also provided a personal insight into the steps the UK Government is taking towards economic recovery.
Mr Bell was invited to the event by Alderman David Wootton, who visited the Isle of Man in January, as an opportunity to strengthen political and business relationships with the City.
