The Social Affairs Policy Review Committee of Tynwald will be holding a hearing later this week.
They will take general oral evidence from Home Affairs Minister Bill Malarkey, Interim Chief Executive Dan Davies and Chief Constable Gary Roberts with a number of topics to be discussed.
Later it will then hear from Courtenay Heading on the subject of statins.
The session is open to the public, and will commence at Legislative Buildings in Douglas on Friday at 1.30pm.
