A fight over a seat in a pub during TT week has landed a Douglas man in court.
30 year old Michael William Steven Hanger of Victoria Street admitted affray and assault causing actual bodily harm when he appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse.
The court heard on June 1 Hanger was drinking in the Woodbourne pub in Douglas when a man joked he was sitting in his seat.
Hanger responded by punching him several times in the ribs - prosecutor Hazel Carroon said the incident was caught on CCTV.
Mrs Hughes adjourned the case for pre-sentencing reports to be prepared.
Hanger was bailed to appear again on September 3.
