It’s been confirmed a second TT racer has died following a crash during a practice session this evening.
50-year-old Paul Shoesmith was killed during an incident on the Sulby Straight during the solo practice.
It was red flagged and the rest of the session was scrapped.
Earlier that day the Poynton man had recorded his fastest ever lap around the Mountain Course during the Superbike race – finishing in 29th position.
In this afternoon’s Sidecar race 27-year-old Dwight Beare was killed after an incident at Rhencullen.
