Chief Minister, Howard Quayle MHK, says it's 'time to get on with the work' of transforming Island healthcare services.
His comments came after Tynwald members unanimously approved the findings and recommendations of a landmark review into the health system at the May sitting of the court earlier this week.
Mr Quayle added the government is looking at a five year timeframe for the overall programme for change and hopes to deliver on some aspects 'more swiftly', but warned the task 'won't be quickly or easily achieved'.
The evaluation was carried out by Sir Jonathan Michael - a former chief executive of three NHS trusts in the UK.
