A teenager who caused over £2,500 of damage to his rented flat during an "outburst" has been ordered to pay compensation to his landlord.
Kyle Collins - who is now 20 - had a "loss of control" on March 26th at his home on Loch Promenade in Douglas.
He caused extensive damage with the white goods in the kitchen being broken and a radiator and extractor fan being pulled off the wall.
He later pleaded guilty to a charge of damaging property - at Douglas Courthouse last week his advocate told the court he fully accepted culpability.
Sentencing him Deputy High Bailiff Jayne Hughes also imposed a 12-month probation order saying it would help keep him "on the straight and narrow".
She also ordered him to pay £2,000 in compensation telling him "you must take this opportunity to make something of your life".
