The ATL union has stated though that even if strikes happen in the UK there would be no similar action here.
The teachers union on the Isle of Man have issued a statement to clarify that they have no plans in place to strike over pension disputes.
The Branch Secretary of the Association of Teachers and Lecturers on the Island, Andrew Shipley, has said the disagreement lies with the English Government, and it’s teachers who are part of the England Teachers Pension Scheme.
He said they are moving to dispel concerns that arose following a newspaper article.
The

Despite this however there could still be affects felt on the Island as the teachers pension arrangements are in line with the UK’s.
