A Pulrose woman nicknamed 'Escobar' for her part in drug-smuggling operations has been jailed for 15 and a half years.
Hayley Williams was sentenced today after being convicted of a number of serious drug offences - she was described as a trusted lieutenant in a criminal syndicate who used her job as a food delivery driver to deal drugs.
Covert recordings caught one gang's leader calling her 'Hayley Escobar', and she also tried to send cocaine, ketamine and MDMA into the prison.
Detective Inspector Jamie Tomlinson of the Serious & Organised Crime Unit says the sentence reflects her involvement in organised crime groups.
