Inflation is reported as being the most common concern among Manx businesses.
Around 40 percent of respondents in the government's new Business Environment and Conditions Survey say so.
Meanwhile about 35 percent of those polled listed energy prices as their biggest worry.
And 25 percent said they were most worried about falling customer demand, followed by nearly 22 percent who said local competition.
