Telecoms firm Sure has been the target of a phishing attack - resulting in the disclosure of data of some of its suppliers, employees and former employees.
The organisation says the information of fewer than 400 personnel across the Isle of Man, Jersey and Guernsey has been lost.
Chief Security Officer, Tim Stonebridge, says no existing customer information was compromised, those affected have been contacted and advised, and Sure's systems haven't been jeopardised.
The company is apologising to all those affected by the incident - which it says was caused by human error.
