Isle of Man Energy says it needs to close a busy road in Douglas for an extra week.
The company has been working on gas mains on Summerhill between Strathallan Road and Summerhill Place.
As a result, the road has been closed since October – but was scheduled to reopen on December 1.
However, the company says it can’t find the right stone to reinstate the road and so the route will shut for an extra week until December 8.
