Suggestion boxes would create administrative burden

The Chief Minister yesterday outlined the different ways in which the public can have their opinions heard on the topic of how government can save and create income.

He was responding the a question by Liberal Vannin member Kate Beecroft, who had proposed putting suggestion boxes at the sea terminal.

The Ramsey MHK listed the numerous avenues for the public to have their voices heard, stating a suggestion box would only serve to create a further administrative burden.

He outlined a series of public meetings on the horizon where he and members of the council of ministers will take part in open discussion about any aspect of government and the services it delivers.
