Lifeboat stations around the Island are asking people to take care in the hot weather this week.
The RNLI says the sunshine means a lot more people are visiting the beach or taking boats out sailing.
Sea Safety Officer Ed Christian says there are some common-sense precautions to take before heading into the sea.
