New figures from the Cabinet Office show 260 people were out of work at the end of December, a rise of just nine people on the previous month.
However, the data shows there were 248 registered vacancies - a fall of more than 36 per cent on November's tally.
The Labour Market Report says the Isle of Man has an unemployment rate of 0.6 per cent.
