The world's oldest active sailing ship which was built in Ramsey is celebrating the 155th anniversary of its launch this week.
The Star of India was launched in November 1863 - and Ramsey Town Commissioners took to social media to mark the occasion.
It's currently based at the Maritime Museum in San Diego, California.
The vessel is one of eleven ships on display there.
