Staff from numerous venues around Island sent home over Coronavirus fears

A number of venues across the Island have closed amid Coronavirus fears.

It comes as a second member of the Steam Packet tested positive for the virus and is currently isolating.

It's reported the Manx Gymnastics Centre of Excellence on Glencrutchery Road in Douglas is closed - 3FM has contacted them for comment.

It's believed the centre has written to parents to inform them that someone who has tested positive for Coronavirus visited the gym earlier this week.

Further, Peel Centenary Centre is rumoured to have closed after a potential contact of a confirmed case - again, 3FM has contacted them for comment.

Staff at ship management company Döhle in Douglas have been sent home from work - it's thought a relative of an employee has tested positive for the virus.
