Snow on the way, predicts Met office

Forecasters are predicting up to 6cm of snow for the Island tomorrow.

It comes following a yellow warning for snow being issued between 1am - 8am tomorrow.

It’s thought adverse conditions are expected to affect the entire island - but particularly roads above 600ft.

Temperatures will drop to freezing, with up to 4-6cm of snow forecast, potentially giving a light to moderate coverage.

The situation will continue to be monitored and any updates or cancellation to this warning will be carried out as necessary.
