The first snowfall of winter struck the Island last night.
The police reported snow on the Mountain Road from Windy Corner through to the end of the Mountain Mile late yesterday evening.
It didn’t cause any problems however with all roads staying open as normal.
This morning there has been patches of snow reported between the Verandah and the Mountain Mile.
Motorists are being asked to take care and drive to the conditions.
