Drivers at being asked to slow down near a popular watering spot for hedgehogs in the hot weather.
The Manx Hedgehog Conservation Society took to Facebook yesterday to issue the plea.
It says the ford on Harbour Road near Cornaa Beach is attracting lots of the thirsty animals at present - but there's also more traffic about, increasing the risk they'll be run over.
They're asking motorists to slow down and take care near the ford.
