When the House of Keys sits next week, Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse will put that question to Chief Minister Alf Cannan.
He wants to know whether the government's considered putting an age limit on social media - Australia has already imposed a ban on under-16s, and the UK is said to be considering similar plans.
MHKs are due to gather from 10am on Tuesday, February 24 in Legislative Buildings in Douglas.
