A Scottish biker has been banned from the roads after being caught drink-driving on the Mountain Road during TT.
Craig Charles Kelso of Beauly Crescent in Wishaw appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse.
The 39 year old self-employed joiner admitted riding his Yamaha R6 while over the limit on June 5.
Prosecutor Barry Swain told the court Kelso was stopped by police doing speed checks at the Ramsey Hairpin at around 7.15am.
They noticed his eyes were glassy, and he was arrested after failing a roadside breath test - specialist equipment at police headquarters later showed he was one and a half times over the limit.
His advocate told the hearing Kelso had been drinking the night before and was ashamed of his actions.
He was fined £750, ordered to pay £125 costs and banned from driving for 12 months.
