The Island's education minister says a ban on mobile phones in schools will be brought in later this year.
In the House of Keys this week, Daphne Caine MHK faced questions about the policy by Arbory, Malew and Castletown MHK Jason Moorhouse.
He wanted to know when the ban would be implemented after a public consultation ended earlier this month.
Mrs Caine said there was still some work to do but she hoped to make the changes this term:
