The roof won’t be fixed on the Loch Promenade kiosk until a children’s play area is installed.
Douglas Council has put the scheme out for tender seven times but none of these were successful.
The local authority says it’s ‘struggled’ to keep tenants in the kiosk in recent years.
Temporary remedial works will be completed to clear water and support the building structure and the old signage will be removed.
