Two men accused of taking a quantity of cash from a pizza delivery van have been remanded in custody.
The two males made off with the money after threatening a man with hammers; they were wearing makeshift masks to hide their identity.
After assistance from the public, police detained the men and claim they are no longer a threat to the community.
They will appear back in court next week, with a committal date set for early in the New Year.
