The head of a lifesaving organisation founded on the Isle of Man has labelled abuse against its volunteers "wholly unacceptable".
Peter Sparks of the RNLI released a video, shared by local lifeboat stations, about the body's work in the channel after masked far-right thugs targeted its staff.
He says since the RNLI was founded by Sir William Hillary, lifeboat volunteers have selflessly saved lives at sea.
And he criticized those who subjected them to virtual or physical abuse:
