RNLI crews were dispatched last night after a pleasure craft off the coast of the Island was hit with engine problems.
The all-weather lifeboat of Douglas was called to the scene just off the Marine Drive Toll Gate at around 7.20pm to a small vessel with three people on board.
Teams established the craft had been experiencing issues with the fuel supply, but those on board it managed to resolve the problem.
Having confirmed none of the trio were in need of immediate assistance, the lifeboat then safely escorted the vessel back to Douglas Harbour.
