Diversification will be the key to economic success on the Island
New Economic Development minister John Shimmin has vowed to tackle the industries most in need of attention on the Island.
Speaking to 3FM about his plans for the department he said it is crucial they bolster struggling sectors like retail and construction that suffered as a result of the economic downturn.
At the other end of the scale E-gaming and insurance are the sectors that have seen consistent growth in recent years.
Minister Shimmin told 3FM that it's clear diversification will be the key to economic success on the Island, and work must continue to identify new opportunities for the Island.
