Residents now more security conscious say police

Officers did attend a burglary at a property in Kirk Michael but say they believe this was committed earlier in the week - it brings the total tally to 37 since January 9th. 

 

Residents are being warned not to let their guard down and to continue to take sensible security precautions and remain vigilant. 

 

Police say the chances of becoming a victim of crime on the Island remain small - however they've asked people to continue to report suspicious activity, as it is happening, such as hearing breaking glass or seeing unknown people at neighbouring properties.
