Replacing a care home in the North might take two to three years, according to the government.
A meeting was held about Ramsey's Cummal Mooar earlier this month, to figure out what services a new facility should offer.
The current home's been in operation for more than 40 years.
And the government says it'll stay in use until a replacement is ready.
