Ramsey shop burgled over weekend

Thieves stole cash from a shop in Ramsey this weekend.

The offender broke into the property in St Paul's Square in the early hours of Saturday morning by forcing the front door and removing the money.

It's not thought to be connected with the recent spate of domestic thefts - however police are yet to rule it out.

Anyone who saw or heard someone acting suspiciously in the area at the time is asked to contact Ramsey Police Station on 812234.
