£52 worth of cannabis has cost a man more than £800 in fines and court costs.
21 year old Matthew Boyde of Cronk Elfin in Ramsey admitted possessing cannabis when he appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
Police raided his home on July 29 and found 2.6 grammes of the drug.
He was fined £750 and ordered to pay £125 prosecution costs.
