Ramsey football fixture to pay tribute to players killed in December

A local football match will today pay tribute to two of the men killed in road traffic incidents over the Christmas period.

St Ninian's teacher Rob Campbell and Ramsey man Jamie Cowhig both played for Ramsey FC and Ramsey Youth Centre Old Boys respectively.

The match between the two teams will kick of at Ballacloan Stadium at 1.15pm.

There will be floral tributes in the centre circle for a one minute's silence.

Each side will be led out by a member of Rob and Jamie's family, with all gate monies to be donated to a charity of the families choosing.
