Castletown could be set to get a new pedestrian crossing on a busy road, if planners give the go-ahead.
The Department of Infrastructure has applied for planning permission to create the new crossing on Victoria Road.
A new zebra crossing would be built near the roundabout next to the Silverburn River.
The department says it's consulted a tree surgeon to make sure a nearby mature tree isn't damaged by the work.
