Princess Anne making Island visit today

Princess Anne will be on Island for a one-day visit today.

The Princess Royal will conduct a series of opening ceremonies across the north, east and west as part of her trip.

Her Highness will visit Market Hall in Douglas this morning alongside the Lieutenant Governor and the Chief Minister before heading to the Ramsey Park Hotel which has recently undergone expansion.

She will then travel to Peel to meet the Islands Infrastructure Minister and officially open the new harbour bridge before taking in the House of Mannanan and finally heading to the Cathedral Church of Saint German to see the garden restoration which has taken place there.
