Princess Anne learns about local produce

Her Royal Highness meets DEFA staff

The Island has a royal visitor.

Princess Anne arrived on the Island just after lunchtime – around three hours late due to poor weather in London.

This afternoon she will visit Peel Cathedral, the prison and the new Ballavartyn Stables in Santon.

Her fist visit of the day was to the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture headquarters in St John’s where she met local food producers.

Minister Phil Gawne says a wide range of topics were discussed:
