Manx Cycling legend Mark Cavendish will officially start this year's 24 Hours of Le Mans.
French race organisers say the Manx Missile will get the event underway on Saturday, June 13.
The race, which first ran in 1923, is the world's oldest endurance race.
ACO President Pierre Fillon described Cav as standing for 'all the event holds dear - dazzling performance and shared passion'.
