In a BBC interview yesterday Michelle Mone admitted she lied about her involvement in PPE Medpro in an effort to protect her family from media attention.
She mediated a deal between Government and her husband Doug Barrowman's company to supply £200 million worth of face masks and surgical gowns, with the company securing £60 million profit in the process.
When asked in the interview why she had admitted lying to the press, she replied 'that's not a crime'.
