Isle of Man Post Office is thanking the government over its support for plans to re-shape its operations.
Earlier this week, Tynwald approved a strategy to modernise the post office retail network aimed at combating challenges the organisation is currently facing.
Postal service chair, Julie Edge MHK, says members of the court have acknowledged the business is facing a 'perfect storm' of falling customer transactions and rising competition.
Commitments made in the strategy include ensuring 96 per cent of resident are within three miles of accessible services, a postal access point in each constituency and seeking opportunties to provide new retail options.
