Coastguards and fire crews teamed up to save a boy who was hanging over a 36-foot cliff today.
The incident happened at 2pm when a member of the public reported the boy was stuck, but clinging to a gorse bush.
Douglas Coastguard Rescue Team and Laxey's Fire & Rescue Service joined forces to bring down the youngster with a ladder.
A firefighter climbed up and brought the boy back down to safety.
