Isle of Man Post Office says it can't comment on commercially sensitive discussions, after reports it would take over courier firm Evri's operations on the Island.
Yesterday, an industry media outlet said Evri would leave the Isle of Man in September, with the Post Office taking over its deliveries.
The reported plans would see just six of the current 40 Island drivers kept on after the changeover.
Today, the Post Office said it "actively considers commercial opportunities that support the long-term sustainability of the organisation", adding it doesn't comment on commercial matters.
