The Department of Infrastructure says work on a street in Port St Mary will continue today.
Yesterday, workers began a ground-penetrating survey in High Street, before possible roadworks there.
On Facebook, the department says that work will continue today, with the route closing at 8.30am.
It's hoping to complete the work by the end of the working day.
